If you're wondering why I haven't written for a little while, look below for a bit of a hint.... The equation is fairly straightforward: Beer + Laptop = Epic Fail.... or Heineken 1, Laptop 0... 
Fairly simple story, I was enjoying a brewski of an evening when my adventurous (and green bottle loving) 18 month old son decided he would feed my obviously thirsty Benq S41 Notebook about half a bottle of beer.... Well, it only took a second to see the beer pouring out the bottom of my Laptop, it had gone through all the way from the keyboard. I know the images are rather graphic and may upset some geeks, however the laptop was beyond repair. I attempted a complete dissasembly, clean with Isopropyl and dry, however except for a brief flicker of the blue led, alas she was dead..... Well, I guess it's time to start saving for my next Laptop, which I promise to experiment on and push to the limits like I did with this one, for your entertainment. |
